We were in Seattle for a few days for baseball games and exploring the city. We come to Seattle about once a year and we usually stay in a hotel, this year we stayed at an Airbnb for the first time in a neighborhood that is new to us. Our last morning there we wanted to go out to breakfast close by. There were not a lot of choices in the neighborhood where we were staying but Baja bistro was one of those places and we actually stopped someone on the sidewalk and asked him if they had any recommendations close by and he said Baja bistro was a good place.
We walked in & it seemed like a small little place - I feel like there's probably stuff further back in that we just didn't see, and some interesting artwork on the wall. Once we ordered and got our food there was no doubt we made the right choice.
The food was outstanding. Most of us had breakfast dishes, my mom had a lunch/dinner dish. All of them were excellent.
The service was really good as well. We appreciated all of it and will certainly keep it on our Seattle list of places! -

Impressed with menu. Everything we had for brunch was great! Salsa was delicious. We will definitely be back.

I really like the idea of an authentic restaurant decor, however I don't think the food is Mexican authentic. The food felt uninspired, alright seasoning, guacamole that isn't fresh tasting, and gisado that was so moist that my quesadilla was dripping with caldo while I was eating it.
Then I went back and the flautas just weren't tasty. It was missing something like crunch; it was actually caldudo. Could you imagine eating flautas with so much caldo that they start falling apart and become enchiladas aogadas? The bar side seems fun though, a little more spirited and relaxed. -

Yes! I hardly remember to update reviews, but I just had to with Baja Bistro! This place is awesome and you should eat and hang out here.
Since Baja Bistro is close to where my bestie lives, he likes to come here and watch sports and get a bloody maria. He's a regular here. So when he wanted to meet here again and watch part of the game here I thought, why not? Maybe the dine-in experience will be way better than when we picked up food the last time.
We ordered margaritas and for food, I ordered the Chilaquiles because someone sitting nearby ordered it and I was drunk enough to wrap my arm around the guy and ask, "WHAT IS THAT? It looks amazing!" Sure enough, he told me it was the chilaquiles and confessed that he ate it every week. How convincing is that?
The chilaquiles dish was fantastic! I've never had this dish before, so was surprised to learn how yummy chips soaked in a tomato base with scrambled eggs and for an additional fee, chorizo could be! I've been missing out on a lot. It was a delicious brunch, that had awesome flavor and a good spicy kick.
And I would be remissed if I didn't tell you how sweet and friendly the owner and staff are here? The employees are awesome, engage with the customers and love the Seahawks so much that they literally jump up and down at every touchdown. How freakin' cool are they? Come hang out at Baja Bistro, make friends and eat the chilaquiles! Awesome times are to be had here! -

So so disappointed. The food was so bland and mushy. Yes, mushy. Like they either microwave their potatoes and serve them or they boil them then serve them. My scramble may have had an egg in it or it may not have. We barely ate any of our food. We left the restaurant smelling like food and nauseous.
